Bio
Welcome to MiC SkyLeZ music page. It all started in Brooklyn, NY Michael
Myrie (MiC SkyLeZ) born March 10, 1993 was always an avid writer, as a
youth MiC wrote anything he could stories, poems, screenplays, scripts, and
occasionally songs. He continued to develop his writing skills for years
never realizing his true talent to write songs and great music. MiC always
loved hip-hop listening to artist such as Tupac, Biggie, DMX, 50 Cent,
Snoop Dogg, and many others. Always a dreamer he used to imitate their
actions in his room as though he was rapping on stage knowing something
greater was in his path. At the age of 14 MiC went to New Utrecht High
School where he got his first introduction into rapping from a friend named
Arkeem (Bundlez) immediately taking interest in the art form MiC went home
eagerly writing rhymes and working on his craft so one day he could become
the best to ever do it. Eventually him, Arkeem, Javier, Jayshawn
(Jay-Tana),Rob, and Madeline formed the group F.B.M. He took on the name
Supreme diving headfirst in the life with dreams of one day making it big.
Due to internal struggles eventually the group fell apart. MiC once again
alone left the name supreme and the memories of F.B.M in the past and was
more determined then ever to be successful. During the years at New Utrecht
MiC became more involved in the hip hop world occasionally recording and
frequently rapping and freestyling with his friends. His Skills began to
develop more and more as he continued to rap everyday. MiC eventually met
up with Algge and started recording at his home studio. MiC was impressed
with Algge's skill and became more determined then ever taking on the name
Yung A-K and going harder then he ever did. After recording more often and
reconnecting with Arkeem for some minor collab projects MiC felt his skills
were growing rapidly, but as things went better with his music he realized
the street life he was trying to live was catching up with him. MiC was on
his way to completing his first mixtape Crooklyn's Finest which was a
depiction of his life in the street's of Brooklyn. Although the project had
promise MiC was arrested and the project was never completed. MiC was
becoming more involved with gangs and the street life. His mother fearing
he would end up in jail or dead moved out to Elmont, Long Island bringing
MiC with her. During that time MiC went through a deep depression missing
his home and his friends. He drowned himself deeper in music and writing
going in a music solitude which lasted two years. MiC shed his old name
Yung A-K and realized living in Brooklyn was in his past and continued to
move forward a little less determined then usual. While attending Sewanhaka
High School MiC met his good friend Mykle (Myke Brillz) and showed him his
skill with lyrics. Due to Brillz encouragement MiC knew he was destined to
be the best, gave himself the name SkyLeZ and looked toward the future with
much promise. After performing the first verse he ever wrote as an official
rapper in front of Brillz and other artist and people MiC saw their
reactions and knew he had something special. Shedding the self-doubt and
fear he once had he pursued this path with great resolve and determination.
Since that day MiC has continued his progression to becoming the best
facing multiple obstacles but remaining focused. During the time he's
released many songs which have gotten good feedback such as FAME, Candy
Rain, Turnt Up, and Hell Of A Night and has been working towards the goal
of completing his first mixtape Preordained 93 and eventually his first
album Product Of Society. MiC SkyLeZ is now aiming for the top. With the
right tools in his arsenal and the right people by his side his rise to the
top seem's assured. Who can stop a lyrical force that was predestined for
this?. All we can do now is wait and see what MiC SkyLeZ has in store now.
